We accept children aged 2 to 5 years old.
Our Staff have clear background checks, are certified in First Aid/CPR and hold an ECE Certificate/have professional experience with children.
Puddle Jumpers Victoria is a private business that does not offer subsidy at this time. Our fees are set so that we can pay our qualified staff a higher wage.
When our Beaver Lake class fills up we will start filling up our Centennial (Wallace Dr.) location. If you would like to register for that you can send an email.
Safety is our highest priority. We have rules that the children must follow in order to prevent injury, (as they learn minor scrapes and bruises can occur) we have a very strict policy of no mushrooms in the woods, we teach the children that mushrooms are to be given my parents only (better safe then sorry).
We offer a play-based nature curriculum that is designed to foster a love of learning in young children.

We spend most of our mornings in close proximity to the public washrooms (we ask parents to take their child before and after the activity) at Beaver Lake/Cordova Bay Beach. If there are times when we are away from the washrooms, we will help our students privately pee in the woods (drip dry). If a child needs to poo we will help them if need be! The teachers are prepared for everything!
Every child will be expected to carry their own backpack. Once they have arrived at the site they can take it off until they are picked up (we have a wagon that can carry their snack boxes).
In their back pack, which should be clearly labeled on the outside, there should be the following: a water bottle, a healthy snack (please no wrappers) warm hat, and mittens. Muddy buddies should be on your child when they arrive. We provide reflective vests. Every child should wear appropriate foot wear. Often this will mean rain boots or in colder weather, winter boots. A list of the most suitable clothing and footwear will be provided.
This is an Outdoor Program that operates rain or shine. If there is a lot of rain we will pop up our tents and if there are weather warning or snow we reserve the right to cancel class for the day. The safety of the children is the most important thing.
